On Air

On Air, August 14th night. 

KLM airways,when transit in Kuala Lumpur

My first destination was Kuala Lumpur International Airport of Malaysia. It would take about 2 hours from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur. Strongly different, a flight with KLM airways was more pleasant than any local airways in Indonesia. 

Thousands lights 

I was sitting next to Timmy where Timmy sat near the window. I looked through the window on deep blue sky with a lot of cloud. Since we were flying above the cloud, we still could see the stars in the sky. When the cloud was close to absent, I saw thousands lights - not stars, but house lamps- filling up my eyes. "It's awesome," I thought. I couldn't believe it. I was on a plane and would go to America. Other seven my friends sat on different seats not so close with me. I didn't even know where they are. The girl who sat next to me is Deri, a Sampoerna Academy Palembang student from Bandung.

On the plane, waiting to take off

I landed few hours after the took off. I got a terrible ears shock because of the air pressure. I had never felt that way before. It was the same like when you were cleaning your ears with cotton buds hardly. Basically, my next flight to Amsterdam was with the same plane but my flight need a transit. I went around in the Kuala Lumpur Interantional Airport in Malaysia. I heard a lot about Malaysia before. It is located so close with Indonesia. But I had never been here before. The airport is so clean and interesting. This country has made rapid development in the past 50 years. In early 1950s, many Malaysia students came to Indonesia to study. Now, that condition seemed to be different. They have developed a good system in managing their country so that they can overstep Indonesia development in many aspects. Therefore, the youth of Indonesia should build up their enthusiasm to make Indonesia better.

Vegetarian Food

My flight took 31 hours. What could I do during my 31 hours on the plane? Although flying was something new for me and it seemed to be so interesting, but 31 hours sitting on the plane with nothing to do is something creepy. In addition, my flight was against the earth rotation, so two hours on the plane is equal to one hour in the local area. It made me to have my longest night ever. The good thing was the plane is designed for long-distance travel so that I had a monitor in front of my seat. I could listen to musics, watch TV streaming, watch the most up to date movies, play games, and view the beverage for the day. I also served with various delicious european meals, juice, milk, water,chips, and ice creams. I forgot to order a halal food so I was a vegetarian that time though I hate vegetables. But it was no problem.
